JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Term 1 2017

Junior Skills training is back for 2017 on Thursday 16th February at Cows With Guns, Bonville.

We've decided to move back to Cows so we can really start developing the kids skills on more technical single track. Cows is also a great space to teach new riders the basics in a safe controlled environment.

National Parks have also graded Hunters road making entry a lot smoother for all vehicles.

We'll be doing 2 sessions this term with "Little Wheelers" starting at 4:30pm and "Big Wheelers" starting at 5:30pm.

Little Wheelers 4:30-5:30pm

The "Little Wheelers" session is aimed at kids 6 to 10 and will focus on developing skills learned last year, as well as beginner skills for new riders joining this year.

We ask that a parent or guardian remains on site at Cows With Guns during the training session.

Big Wheelers 5:30-6:30pm

Our "Big Wheelers" session is designed for ages 11 and upwards and will focus on not only developing the technical skills of riders but start to work on fitness & trail awareness.

Participants will need a fully functioning mountain bike with front suspension forks, front and rear brakes and suitable gearing. If your unsure of the suitability of your child's bike please drop in and talk to one of our awesome local bike shops. The session is capped to a total of 10 riders.

All participants must have a "Dirtmaster" membership of the club through MTBA which is $45 for 1 year. This will allow your child to participate in all our club and MTBA sanctioned events across Australia.

Each session is $5 per child and a parent or guardian must sign their child in and out of the session.

Please complete the registration form to register as we will cap each section to a maximum of 10 riders per session.
